Your face. Your choice.
This policy describes the current pre-release app. The final release disclosures will be checked against its signed build before distribution.
Camera and tracking
Camera frames, face landmarks and hand tracking are processed on your iPhone to place virtual makeup. The app does not require an account, remote inference or a runtime model download. It does not automatically upload your camera images or face/hand tracking points.
The app uses Apple's camera and Vision APIs and a bundled MediaPipe face model. Apple's own system diagnostics are governed by your device settings and Apple's policies.
What you choose to keep
Saving a look stores its source image, rendered image and makeup recipe inside the app. Draft recovery stores makeup settings and brush placements, without automatically saving camera photos. Preferences and tutorial completion are also stored locally. App data may be included in your device backups under your Apple settings.
Delete individual looks in the library, or use Help → Delete all local looks and draft. Exported images, earlier shares and backups are outside that local deletion; manage them in Photos, Files, the recipient app or your backup settings.
Photos, Files and sharing
Photo import uses the system picker. Saving to Photos requests permission to add the image you choose. Files export and sharing use system interfaces. A destination or friend receives the selected image only when you complete that action, and their service's policy applies.
Optional performance reports
You can start a mirror performance check. It keeps bounded aggregate timings, frame/application counts, app version and thermal/power categories in memory. Reports contain no photos, face landmarks, finger paths or device identifiers. Exporting a JSON report is optional; the app does not automatically send that report. Sharing it by email is a separate choice.
Website and support
This website has no analytics script, advertising pixel, embedded social/video player, account form or automatic newsletter signup. It is hosted on Render; normal hosting requests may involve technical information such as an IP address and browser request. Email links open your mail app. If you contact info@vydr.io, the information you send is used to respond and investigate your request; do not send face photos or sensitive information unless you choose to.
The app has no third-party advertising integration or tracking permission request in its current release candidate. Future purchases, telemetry or account features would require updated disclosures before release.
